Created by Marie Poniatowski in 2004, the Stone Paris label won recognition by revisiting piercing in precious mode with a collection of mini-creoles exclusively made of diamonds and 18-carat gold (yellow, white, black and rose). At the time, Stone Paris stood out as a pioneer for jewellery that had cast all complexes aside.

In fact, its creations are intended for women of all generations who decide to ignore convention. Inspired by an exhilarating session on a shooting range, the unisex Bang Bang collection with its 9-mm bullets made of gold or titanium, plain or set with diamonds, is the flagship collection of Akillis founded by Caroline Gaspard in 2007.

Once launched, the jewel-making revolution has been pursued over the years with the creation of one-of-a-kind collections, always unisex, each one more audacious than the last. Sharpened triangles, Maori patterns, snake-like scales…, motifs in this jewellery are unprecedented, just like its black and white variations, radical settings and diamond-studded rope chains, all giving Akillis jewellery an ultra-contemporary "glam'rock" allure.

In 2018, designer and entrepreneur Amélie Huynh sparked a real surprise with Statement. While her creations are inspired by Art Deco sophistication and the intensity of Brutalist architecture, they are even more surprising for being made of sterling silver. In fact, Amélie Huynh made jewellery silver - which is rhodium-plated to enhance its brightness while preventing it from darkening - one of Statement's signature themes.

Paved with natural diamonds, each creation thus boldly overturns long-established codes of traditional jewellery. Designed like real armour, Statement jewellery also plays a role of protection.
