An authentic sports car
True to its DNA, the SUV designed by Ferrari (even though, according to the manufacturer, it is not an SUV,) is assertively racy while offering four seats and four doors: a first for the firm of Maranello. Likewise, the power and performance it deploys are superior to those of luxury vehicles in the same category. Thanks to the iconic, naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine (mounted here in mid-front position), the Purosangue unleashes 725 hp chalking up 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, 200 km/h in only 10.6 seconds, and a top speed of 310 km/h. The Ferrari Purosangue is also equipped with the latest dynamic control systems inherited from its most powerful sports cars, ie. ABS EVO with 6-way chassis dynamic sensor, independent four-wheel steering, an unprecedented Hill Descent Control, and a new active suspension system which, among other things, effectively controls body roll in corners.
A unique silhouette and unparalleled comfort
The Purosangue is impressive: 4.97 m long, 2.03 m wide and 1.59 m high, with a total weight of 2,033 kg. Its external design blends elegance and sportiness. Deftly sculpted and chiselled, its bodywork offers unique contours which accentuate its aerodynamic development. As witnessed by hollow castings for the wings and hood, and the suspended rear spoiler. Inside, a spacious, luxurious and sophisticated cabin is revealed, worthy of a real lounge. Here you discover four separate cockpit seats, all heated and electrically adjustable, along with a dashboard with two screens inspired by the SF90 Stradale: one for instrumentation, the other to control the car's various passenger functions. Enhanced by a rear-hinged back door five degrees wider than on other models, comfort on board the Purosangue is quite exceptional. Not forgetting its generous boot of 473 litres (the largest ever seen on a Ferrari), which can be increased by lowering the rear seats.
The first deliveries of the Purosangue should take place in the coming months. Though one would have to wait patiently for two years to order one, with production of the Purosangue limited to about 2,000 models per year.
